Romani Roots

The group ROMANI ROOTS was created in the latter part of 

2007 in response to the needs of so many who are of

Romani heritage, whether full or partial, within the

Worcestershire community.

Whilst some members of the Romani Race may not support

those persons who they may feel are not of "full" Romani

blood, Romani Roots believes those of Romani heritage are

as proud and as Romani as any other amongst our race .

It is our firm belief that these  people  will retain and

perpetuate  the culture, language and heritage as much as

any  other member of the Romani Race.

 We at Romani Roots therefore  have made the commitment

to support, promote, educate and perpetuate ALL within the

Romani Race.

We are proud to inform our members and supporters that we now have an office base for our organisation.

Due to the rapid expansion of the organisation and its membership the adminstration of both our organisation and website requires a professional, unified and stable base from which to retain, perpetuate and broaden the facilities and organsiation itself.

All the creators/facilitators of this site are of  Romani

heritage, some are "full", others mixed - but we make

no distinction - ALL are Romani!

We range in age from the young adult to the mature and a

number of the creators/facilitators are also members of the

committee for the

volunteer, non-profit organisation:  Romani Roots.
