We had the pleasure of welcoming Sherrymarie and her family to our Anniversary "Opre" Music Festival.

 Sherrymarie is already an accomplished singer at the tender age of 10 years old. Her mature and expert voice have made her a hit with Traveller and Gorga alike. She has attended many a Gypsy Fair and  Festival and gained rave reviews.

Here is what Sherrymaries' mother says of Sherrymarie:

 "She's 10 years old and as been singing since she could talk, her voice is a born talent. Her grandad's first cousin, singer and song writer Ambross Cooper was one of the first to discover her talent when at the age of 4 she asked him to play for her "Coalminers daughter" so she could sing to him. "

 "When she was finished Ambross was so inpressed he made her sing it again and his very words were "this baby got born talent". She made her first cd at the age of 8 and went around all the gypsy horse shows across the country where she inpressed lots of poeple with her singing and as sold 1000's of cd's."

 "At the age of just 10 years old she is already a well known gypsy singer among the gypsy poeple and gorgers too. She sings all kinds of songs but country music is her first love like it is with most gypsys."
