Something to See!

We welcome Mr Gordon Boswell and his Museum to ROMANI ROOTS, his is a "must see" location for Romany and non-Romany alike!

Situated in the Lincolnshire countryside it offers a rare oppportunity to view the life, culture, history and sheer beauty of our race in a open and eduactional manner.

There is also a rare opportuntiy to travel on a vardo, and experience in a "hands on" manner, our traditional way of living.

This is a wonderful opportunity for family and individual to have a "once in a lifetime" experience and we hope this page will encourage all to go along and view this fantastic venue and its displays.

" A Romany Day Out "

"We leave the Museum 10-10.30 for a 7 mile drive in the Romany Vardo.

When we stop we tether the horses, make a stick fire and then cook you a steak meal in the traditional Romany way.

Enjoy 2-3 hours sitting around the stick fire and relish the peace and quiet.

Harness up for your return journey to the museum.

Your special day lasts approximately 6 hours, we can take a maximum of six people."
