A Romany in the Family

ISBN NUMBER: 1-903418-27-5

AVAILABLE FROM: Cottage Boks  Email:[email protected]

AUTHOR:  Robert Dawson

PUBLISHER: 4 Sheets Design and Print

PRICE: £16.50

Member comment: This is a really interesting book to check on Romany Gypsy surnames and whose family is related to who. But don't worry if your family names are not included - just remember that not all names are included and those names you are looking for may have been historically changed, adjusted, added to, or changed completely in favour of a more "useful" name and many used Romany words and "joke" names instead of their real names to "fool" the establishment - persisitence is the key when reseaching your family history!
